Founded in 2000, Silicon Valley-China Wireless Technology Association 
(SVCWireless) is a leading non-profit organization in Silicon Valley
with 5000+ members in wireless industry. As an open association, 
SVCWireless embraces everyone interested in learning and sharing 
knowledge on wireless technologies and market activities; and promotes 
entrepreneurship, innovation, and networking with a focus on US and 
Asia wireless industries.

SVCWireless holds regular and special events such as monthly 
professional seminars/workshops, monthly networking lunches/dinners,
and our flagship annual conference throughout the year. In addition, we
partner with our alliances professional organizations to co-sponsor or 
cross-promote events focused on mobile and wireless industry.

To continue maintain and exceed our event quality, SVCWireless is 
looking for highly self-motivated volunteers for various level of
positions. If you are looking for:

We are looking for VPs, Directors and volunteers as well for the

Program Team
You will have excellent opportunities to:
- Plan and Organize varieties of exciting SVCWireless events such as 
Mobile Apps, Smart Grid, and Entrepreurship SIG Seminars, Delegations
to China and SVCWireless Annual Conferences
- Network with luminous executives and experts, VCs, and other 
professionals in the Wireless/internet field.
- Team work with highly motivated volunteers in a warm and enjoyable 
environment.

Requirements:
- Highly motivated and responsible team player.
- Strong organizational, leadership, presentation and communication 
skills.

Sponsorship team
- Plan and execute the strategies for landing sponsorship deals which 
is crucial to the success of SVCWireless.
- Meet face to face and set up connections with senior executives of 
the corporate sponsors.
- Follow up with sponsors from time to time to get feedbacks to ensure 
their expectations are met properly by our service.
- Work closely with other teams especially the Program team.
- Have great interests/connections in Chinese markets.

Requirements:
-  Highly motivated, committed and responsible team player.
-   Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills.

Marketing team
- lead and supervise marketing team.
- Develop marketing strategy to promote SVCWireless as well as its 
events via various medias (including Social Networks, Radio, Newspaper
and TV)
- Work with Program Team on event announcements.
- Work with Alliance team to promote event and membership.

Requirements:
- Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills.
- Commit to working 6 hours or more per week when needed.
- Previous working experience in Marketing is a plus

Alliance Team
Responsibilities: 
- Collaborate with other organizations to promote events for each 
other.  Promote SVCwireless brand name among different
organizations in US, China and Canada areas.  Expanding relationships 
with other organizations.  
- Coordinate with other members to make SVCWireless conference 
successful.

Requirements:
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Membership Team:
Responsibilities: collaborate with other teams to expand our 
membership, including both associate members and standard members.
Requirements: strong people skills.

Networking Team:
Responsibilities:  organize internal networking events, internal 
training and help Presidents/EVP to recruit and grow volunteers.
Requirements: strong people skills. HR experiences is preferred.

Operations Team
This position offers excellent networking opportunity via on-site 
activities. You will lead a team to focus on event organization,
especially on-site management.

Requirements:
- Strong organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Note: VP level positions require prior professional management 
experiences, or executive level experiences in other nonprofit
organizations, or 6+ months of volunteers experiences in SVCW.
