Great Wall Club Inc (US):  After the big success of special “Monday Dinner” at Barcelona during World Mobile Congress 2012, Great Wall Club Inc (US) will host another executive/CEO dinner during the 26th iteration of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) on March 7th near Moscone Center, San Francisco.

This Dinner is featuring the Vice President for The9(NASDAQ: NCTY), Guoding (Chris) SHEN, GM of App Store Operation Center of China Telecom, Jiang WU, as well as select Silicon Valley mobile game leaders. The theme of this dinner is Status quo and future development trend of China’s mobile game industry & the international opportunities.

 Chirs Shen, Vice President, The9 Ltd

Chris Shen has served as The9‘s Vice President since January 2006 and now leads the New Business Unit and Public Relations Department at The9.

Mr. Shen joined The9 in May 2005 and has served as Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations from August 2005 to December 2005 before his promotion to Vice President.

Prior to joining The9, he has served as Group Account Director and Account Director for several renowned advertising agencies in Shanghai and Taipei. In more than 10 years working in various advertising agencies, Mr. Shen has helped a lot of local and international brands in planning their sales and marketing initiatives.

Bringing the rich, extensive marketing experiences to The9, Mr. Shen led the team successfully completed brand planning, public relation activities and marketing campaigns for World of Warcraft, Soul of The Ultimate Nation, Granado Espada, EA SPORTS FIFA Online 2, World of Fighter, etc. Commencing in 2010, Mr. Shen has started to lead The9’s New Business Unit and Public Relations Department, helping The9 make a great progress in the business development of web-based games, Social Networking Service games, mobile games and other new business areas.

Mr. Shen received his bachelor’s degree in management science from the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

The Great Wall Club hosts monthly Monday Dinners in Silicon Valley, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tokyo, and Seoul.
