Great Wall Club Inc (US) is a Silicon Valley based startup focusing on building innovative global business platform for the Mobile Internet Industry. The first Global Mobile Internet Conference Silicon Valley (GMIC SV), hosted by Great Wall Club Inc (US), expected to attract 5,000 attendees, will take place in San Jose on Oct. 19-20th, 2012, follows on the success of GMIC Beijing, Asia’s largest mobile Internet conference draw over 5,200 attendees from 32 countries in May 2012.

We are seeking for a passionate, tech loving well-rounded rockstar that can build the brand and drive sales of GWC products like the Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC), GWC membership, sponsorship, and monthly events, among our American target markets.

Please note that this is a ground-floor, roll-your-sleeves-up opportunity. You will have the chance to wear many hats and play a hands-on role.

Job description:

Title:  Marketing Intern

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to promote Global Mobile Internet Conference Silicon Valley by using all the possible channels, like PR, events, newsletters, blogs, and Social Media (preferably Twitter / YouTube /LinkedIn);

•       Work as a liaison between sales team and marketing team
•       Assist in operations, partnership and sponsorship

Desired Skill & Experience:

• Current enrollment in, or completion of Bachelor degree, a related field preferred

• Passionate about mobile internet industry and entrepreneurship

• Good, efficient English writing and speaking skills

• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills

• An ability and desire to work in multicultural, multi-language environments

Title: Business Development/ Sales Intern

Responsibilities:

• Able to approach prospective sponsors, partners and exhibitors and follow up on enquiries

• Works closely with co-founder of GWC US, assist with sponsorship, exhibition and ticket sales

• Assist in membership and speakers for Global Mobile Internet Conference,

Desired Skill & Experience:

• Native level English required

• Current enrollment in, or completion of Bachelor degree, a related field preferred

• Good, efficient English writing and speaking skills

• Outstanding organizational skills and negotiation skills

• Passionate about mobile internet industry and entrepreneurship

• An ability and desire to work in multicultural, multi-language environments

• Previous experience of working in a target driven event sales environment preferred

Title: Administrative Intern

Responsibilities:

•        Handle all administrative functions in the office
•        Liaise with and support clients and partners via email and telephone
•        Tracking and maintain email list and other data
•        Assist in marketing and sales team
