GMIC SV 2013 is around the corner and its time for you to be part of in a closer way. Last year we drew over 5,400 attendees from 42 countries, including entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and developers. This year we already have 6000+ people registered. We are looking for few volunteers to help with the conference from 10/21 to 10/23 during GMIC SV. Need a 1.5 – 2 days commitment. • Volunteers must be available to attend two training sessions:
*Oct 12th: Conference Associate Program Introduction + Assignment
11am-11:30am: GMIC Introduction
11:30am-12:30pm: Conference Agenda, Floorplan Overview
12:30-2pm: Lunch, Position Overview + Assignment
*Oct 19th: Onsite Meeting (Time: TBD)
Assignments include:
VIP and Speaker Relations, monitoring session rooms, assisting at registration, material pick up, line management, and exhibition hall tracking.
*Individuals interested in VIP and Speaker Relations and becoming a Senior Staff (Leaders to the Junior staff) will be screened through an interview process
Requirements:
• Must show high level of professionalism, be flexible and confident
• Must be able to work for two 6 hour-shifts OR a full day (12 hours)
• Experience in working with media, operations, registration, marketing, IT, or content/speaker management is desirable•
