F50 Opens Applications for Season 3, Triples Number of Seasons for 2015

REDWOOD CITY, CA (October 17, 2014) — F50 (Fundable 50), a private co-investment platform, announced today it will hold six seasons for fundable startups in the 2015 calendar year. Due to the volume of high-quality startup applicants, the company has opted to increase the quantity of seasonal events and narrow the focus onto specific tech industry sectors.

 

F50 will now accept applications for Season 3 in IoT, Robotics, Smart Hardware and Wearables. The third season is scheduled to kick off on January 13, 2015 followed by a fourth season exclusively focused on Gaming on March 25, 2015. F50 will announce more details regarding dates for a Season targeting Enterprise / Cloud as well as another Season targeting Mobile in 2015.

 

The F50 program puts founders first, offering them visibility and access to the extensive F50 network of investors at absolutely no cost to them. Additionally, the growing F50Investor Advisory Committee (IAC) has proven to be an asset during the startup selection process. F50 held a successful first season in June of 2014, with 30+ startups cumulatively raising more than $10 million.

 

The company’s second season will kick off on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Moscone Center with more than 3,000 pre-registered attendees. 39 applicants have been accepted into Season 2 and will pitch at F50’s private Investor Summit on October 22, 2014 in downtown San Francisco.
