REDWOOD CITY, CA January 12, 2015, F50 (Fundable 50), a private co-investment platform, announced today that it will launch its fourth season (S4), which will focus on startups in the gaming and entertainment sectors. The event will take place in downtown San Francisco on March 3rd, 2015, coinciding with the Game Developer Conference (GDC) and with Launch Festival.
Over the last nine months since F50’s launch, the F50 program has helped 72 founders with their fundraising goals, including an $8 million total co-investment from the F50 Investor Network. F50 successfully held its first two seasons in June and October of 2014, with all F50 startups collectively raising more than $30 million.
“We have a strong investor base in the gaming industry, and we aim to connect game developers with relevant investors worldwide, particularly from Asia,” said Eli Lipstein, who will lead F50’s S4 program.
F50’s third season (S3) is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 at the Rosewood Sand Hill in Silicon Valley. 35 companies have been accepted into S3, and will pitch their startups to hundreds of select investors at this private event.
