The company has partnered with the University of Toronto and IBM to search for new treatments for the Ebola virus using artificial intelligence. Notable investors include AME Cloud Ventures, Draper Associates, and Khosla Ventures.
Clear Labs provides food analytics while standardizing molecular food quality the global molecular food industry. Notable investors include Khosla Ventures, Felicis Ventures, Tencent Holdings, and Plug and Play.
Zipline builds drones and runs delivery services, dropping crucial medical supplies to clinics or hospitals in areas that aren’t accessible by land. Visionnaire Ventures led the Series B in Zipline joined by Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Subtraction Capital.
Recursion Pharmaceuticals
Recursion uses a novel drug screening platform to efficiently reposition known drugs and shelved pharmaceutical assets to treat rare genetic diseases and other conditions. Notable investors include Lux Capital, AME Cloud Ventures, and Felicis Ventures.
Ativa Medical is the developer of the world’s first diagnostic micro lab designed to assist physicians by enabling faster treatment decisions. Ping An Ventures was the lead investor to their most recent Series B round.
Magnetic Insight seeks to introduce an emerging imaging technology addressing today’s clinical and translational research challenges. Their Seed round was led by Sand Hill Angels.
Cue helps users track their health at the molecular level, revealing the interplay of activity, food & sleep. Notable investors include Mark Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.
